UCA’s Residence Halls and apartments close for Summer break.
The 2026 Summer Residence Halls are Baridon Hall and Carmichael Hall.
You do not have to be enrolled in Summer classes to stay in Summer Housing. There is no required meal plan for Summer Housing, but we do have some. See BearCard website.
How to apply for Summer Housing:
– Log on to my.uca.edu.
– Go to the MyHousing Portal
– Click “My Housing Applications” at the top menu
– Type of Housing: Select “Summer Housing”
– Select “Apply for Housing”
– Complete the Summer Housing ApplicationNOTE: Summer Housing requires you to move to Baridon or Carmichael Hall.
Summer Housing Important Dates
The Summer Housing application will open on February 23, 2026 at 10 am.
Summer Housing 2026 Move In Dates:
May Intersession Transition: Only Spring 2026 residents can apply and they stay in their Spring assignment until May 9th
Summer I: May 31st from 9am – 5pm
Summer II: July 5th from 9am – 5pm
Summer Housing 2026 Move Out Dates:
May Intersession: May 29th by 8pm
Summer I: July 3rd by 8pm
Summer II: August 7th by 8pm
August Transition: Only Summer II residents can apply and they stay in their Summer assignment until August 1st
Summer Housing 2026 Application Changes & Cancellation Dates:
ALL SUMMER TERM CANCELLATIONS must be submitted through the MyHousing Portal on my.uca.edu
May Intersession: April 30th at Noon
Summer I: May 28th at Noon
Summer II + August Intersession: July 2nd at Noon
Summer Rates and Terms:
Summer 2026 (Last Summer) Housing Rates:
May Intersession: Single: $575, Double: $575
Summer I: Single: $835, Double: $635
Summer II + August Intersession: Single: $1,020, Double: $820 ($185 credit if you properly check out by August 7th)
Summer Housing rates are not prorated.
